Blue Collar Skateboards

DIY skater owned independent skateboard co.

Blue Collar Skateboards is a northwest skater owned independent brand. We do almost all our own graphics in house including screen printing, stickers, banners, heat transfers, die cuts, packaging, sewing and much more. This allows us the creative freedom that so many companies are lacking. Our style is that of the working class, basic yet elegant, classic, simple and untrendy. Our creativity is unending and our pool of talented artists is grand.

Our mission is to promote skateboarding in all shapes and forms. Our intentions are to push for more municipal skateparks and actively create DIY underground spots. In addition, we hope to promulgate skateboarding in the atypical populations by sharing, fostering and rekindling the love of skateboarding to all ages/genders..  BCS trucks on.

Owned by long time skater/ filmer Seth Ivers. All a board has been a Tacoma area mainstay forever. Head over and pick up some BCS gear and some decently priced shoes. Seth keeps stuff moving in and out of the shop, so stop in often.

Gizmos Boardshop

Located in Oak Harbor and started by our friend Terril Simecki, Gizmos has become an institution on Whidbey island. Now owned by Shay and residing in a new location, Gizmos continues the skater owned tradition and pushes the scene along.  Oak Harbor has not one, but two killer parks. The original street park is still one of our favorites of all time. Oak harbor also has some pretty decent street skating for those willing to venture.

Started by longtime Anacortes Skater Adam Mckoy, The HW is now 15 years old and continues it's traditions of Skate and Snow excellence. Adam has expanded to in shop screen printing so head there for some original HW shirts printed 15 feet away.

If you are very lucky maybe you can skate the famous "Bow Ramp" nearby.

A continuation of the Marysville shop with the same name from over a decade ago, the Unknown in Bellingham sticks to it's roots. Owners Zac and Graham keep the artwork flowing and many local artists are featured on their walls.  Doing a lot for the local scene as well, the Unknown is the downtown Bellingham must see skateshop.
